The summer of 2019 will forever be etched in my heart as the best time ever—a season of joy, growth, and dreams fulfilled—my unforgettable experience at The Harid Conservatory Summer Intensive in Boca Raton, Florida. From June to July, I immersed myself in the world of ballet, surrounded by passionate individuals who shared the same love for this art form. This was not just a dance program; it was a transformative experience that left an indelible mark on my heart and being the first Indonesian ballerina to train at this renowned institution was an honor beyond words, and the journey that unfolded was nothing short of magical.
Acceptance and Scholarship
The moment I received the news that my audition at The Harid Conservatory was accepted, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude and blessing. The Harid Conservatory is globally recognized as one of the best ballet schools in the world, and to be the first Indonesian ballerina to train there was a dream come true. The added joy came with the knowledge that the school was not only opening its doors to me but also offering financial aid on room and board, in addition to a full scholarship on tuition. This generosity ensured that I could fully immerse myself in their Summer Intensive Program, a chance that meant the world to me, as it allowed me to pursue my passion for ballet without the burden of financial constraints, and for that, I am forever grateful.
Residing at Russo Residence Hall
During my time at The Harid Conservatory, I called the Russo Residence Hall my home, that added another layer of richness to my experience. It was my second experience staying in a dorm, and it exceeded all expectations. The dorm not only provided a comfortable living space but also fostered a sense of community among the students. The supportive atmosphere of the Russo Residence Hall became an integral part of my summer adventure, creating a backdrop for memories that will last a lifetime.
Training at the Pinnacle
The Harid Conservatory exceeded its reputation, providing an environment where passion for ballet flourished. The Summer Intensive Program at The Harid Conservatory was a learning journey like no other. Each day brought new challenges and opportunities for growth, allowing me to delve deeper into the world of ballet. The faculty’s expertise and immersive curriculum expanded my knowledge and skills, refining my technique and nurturing my artistic expression. It was a period of intense training that fueled my passion and dedication to the art form, that made each day a stepping stone in my artistic journey.

One of the most precious aspects of my Harid experience was the bonds I formed with fellow students. The dorm and the program itself facilitated numerous activities, creating an environment where friendships naturally blossomed.
