Last December 18, 2023, marked a significant day in my life – a day when dreams turned into reality as I danced ballet on the bustling streets of Jakarta’s city center, Bunderan HI. What made this experience even more extraordinary was the unexpected opportunity that came my way while I was in Jakarta for a week to secure my F1 Student Visa. Little did I know, this trip would unfold into a breathtaking collaboration with a local shoe brand, Takkan, transforming my visit into a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Takkan, a small but dedicated local shoe brand, approached me with an offer to participate in a photo and video shoot, just in time before my trip to Jakarta. It was such a perfect timing. As I donned my ballet shoes on that fateful day, the bustling energy of Bunderan HI surrounded me. The streets were alive with the rhythmic pulse of Jakarta, and I couldn’t have asked for a more surreal setting. The opportunity to dance amidst the crowd was a dream come true, a moment I had always envisioned but never thought would materialize.
Exploring the MRT Station
The excitement didn’t end on the streets. Takkan and I ventured into the nearby MRT station, capturing more footage and photos in this iconic transportation hub and seizing the moment, make the best out of this opportunity. A tour around the station area, including the MRT itself, added an extra layer of adventure to the day.

Undoubtedly, it was a tiring day. Ballet demands precision, stamina, and passion. Dancing on the streets and exploring the MRT station area pushed my limits.
