Golf has always been a sport I dreamed of trying one day. However, back in my home country, Indonesia, golf is often considered a very expensive sport, making it feel like an unattainable dream. That’s why I felt completely overwhelmed when I finally got the chance to play golf with my friends at BigShots Golf Vero Beach. It was an experience I will never forget!
Walking into the golf facility, I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. Holding a golf club for the first time, I had no idea what I was doing. I stepped up, positioned myself, swung the club with all my might… and completely missed the ball! We all burst into laughter—the biggest and loudest laugh ever! It was in that moment that I realized that this wasn’t just about playing golf; it was about the joy of trying something new, the togetherness, and, of course, the endless silliness we shared.
As the game went on, I tried again and again, slowly getting the hang of it. I didn’t care whether I was good at it or not; I was just having the time of my life. My friends cheered me on, and we celebrated every little victory, no matter how small. The entire experience was filled with laughter, encouragement, and pure fun.
Golf might be known as a sophisticated and skillful sport, but to me, it became a reminder of how special it is to step out of my comfort zone and enjoy the moment. Whether I hit the ball perfectly or not didn’t matter—it was about the experience, the friendships, and making unforgettable memories together.
This first golf experience will always have a special place in my heart. Who knows? Maybe this is just the beginning of a new hobby! But for now, I’ll cherish this day as one of the most fun and unexpected adventures of my life.
