A Magical Tale: My Role as the Arabian Princess in Arts Ballet of Florida’s Nutcracker 2022

Last December, I had the extraordinary honor of embodying the role of the Arabian Princess in the Arts Ballet of Florida‘s Nutcracker show directed by Maestro Vladimir Issaev. Joined by the graceful talents of dance partners, Owen Horsford, Alex Boyd Smith, and Daniel Panameno, my heart danced on stage in Florida at the Aventura Arts Cultural Center in Miami and the Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale. Allow me to take you on a journey through the mesmerizing experience that brought the timeless Nutcracker tale to life.
A Captivating Role
The Arabian Princess is a character that emanates elegance and mystery. Preparing for this role was a journey of self-discovery and artistic exploration. “Dancing in my last performance of ‘The Nutcracker‘ was an exhilarating experience beyond words. While my main role as the Arabian Princess was already a dream come true, the excitement reached a new level when I also took on the roles of Snow Waltz and one of the Parents. It was an incredible opportunity to showcase my versatility and explore different facets of dance. As I seamlessly transitioned from the elegance of the Arabian dance to the enchanting Snow Waltz and the heartwarming portrayal of a Parent, I was reminded of the magic of theater and the boundless possibilities of expression. This unique chance to embody diverse characters allowed me to grow as a dancer and artist, leaving me with cherished memories of a truly unforgettable performance.”
